ELKINS The Elkins Planning Commission met to approve two lot splits on Monday but only one was approved.
George Livermore said he had owned the county property he was requesting a lot split on for 17 years.
After commissioners looked over the drawings of the property noting road and utility access,Commissioner Jeremy Stevens asked leader Don Cryder if he had any problems with the lot split.
Cryder said no.
Commissioners voted to grant the lot split in an unanimous vote.
The second lot split on the agenda was on property owned by Stuart Sanders. Since he was not at the meeting, commissioners said this would have to be carried over to the next meeting on Nov. 16.
