— MAUREEN CARGILL

Maureen Janice Cargill, 75, of Elkins died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009.

She was born Oct. 12, 1933, in Grand Island, Neb., to George Bradley and Jackie Keptle Bradley. She was a homemaker and attended Covenant Word Ministry.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel L. Cargill of Elkins and Timmy L. Cargill of Huntsville; a daughter, Sharon K. Mount of Elkins; three sisters, Patty Sweeney, Kathy Bradley and Jenni Bradley, all of California; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were by Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.

A graveside service was held at Mount Salem Cemetery in Elkins.

Memorials can be made to Chambers Bank in Elkins.

KEN BRANSTETTER

Kenneth Wayne Branstetter, 61, of Farmington died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at Fayetteville Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born Aug. 29, 1948, in Cameron, Okla., the son of Leo Neal and Dovie Lee Walker Branstetter.

He was preceded in death by a son, Connor Robbins; his parents; a brother, Neal Branstetter; and a niece, Tammy Gottlieb.

He was an employee of the Wal-Mart Distribution Center. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed war movies and John Wayne Westerns. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal Clasp, Bronze, 2 Loops and Expert Rifle Medal. He was a member of Farmington Baptist Church. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Spillars Branstetter, whom he married Aug. 19, 1976, in Bell County, Texas; a son, Kenneth W. Branstetter II of Evansville, Ind.; a daughter, Dawn Robbins Williams of Elkins; a brother, Harold Ray Branstetter of Oklahoma City; a sister, Linda Withey of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Friday at Moore’s Chapel. Officiating was the Rev. Preston Beeks. Burial was in Farmington Cemetery.

DEEAN PAIR

Lydia Deean Pair, 50, of Winslow died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009.

She was born July 18, 1959, in San Bernardino, Calif., to Richard Lee Hill Jr. and Clethe June De-Marcus Hill. She was a home health nurse. She was a Baptist and a member of the Chrome Divas Motorcycle Club.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nova Deean Brumley.

Survivors include a daughter, Angela Brumley of Winslow; father, Richard Lee Hill Jr. of Ozark; three brothers, Darrell Hill of Ozark and Richard and Marcus Hill, both of Fayetteville; and a granddaughter.

Arrangements were by Moore’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.

A graveside service was held Saturday at Farmington Cemetery.

GOLDIE CAMPBELL

Goldie Campbell, 58, of Winslow died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009.

She was born March 21, 1951, in Winslow to Orvil Perry and Dovie Hampton Perry. Survivors include her husband, William D. Campbell; a son, Mark Christison of Lincoln; two daughters, Christine Campbell and Brenda Reed, both of Winslow; two stepsons, William A. Campbell of Winslow and Peter Campbell of Oklahoma City ; six brothers; seven sisters; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.

A memorial service was held Wednesday at the Brentwood Community Building with the Rev. John Meade officiating.

SARAH HUTCHENS

Sarah Hutchens, 96, of Winslow died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at North Hills Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born March 6, 1913, in Mount Vernon, Ky., the daughter of Harve Charles and Mary Jane McCowan Moore. She was a homemaker and a member of The First Baptist Church of Winslow.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, W.R. Seely and L.L. Hutchens; three sons, W.R. Seely Jr., Buddy Seely and Charles Hutchens; a brother, Earl Moore; and a sister, Pearl Moore.

She is survived by three sons, James Seely and wife Theresa of Winslow, Donnie Seely and wife Norma of West Fork and J.D. Seely and wife Liz of Kingmon, Ariz.; three daughters, Daisy Harrison of Decatur, Ruby Golab and husband Wendell of Fayetteville and Martha Cooper and husband Sonny of Bentonville; 24 grandchildren; numerous greatgrandchildren; and several great-greatgrandchildren.

A graveside service was held Wednesday at Sunset Cemetery in Winslow, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 2000, Winslow, AR 72959.

FAYE SCHUBARTH

Faye LoRee Schubarth, 83, of Huntsville died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab.

She was born Sept. 11, 1926, in Russell Springs, Kan., to Coy Russell and Martha Blau Baker. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Huntsville Branch. She was a Sunday school teacher.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Raymond Schubarth, and a daughter, Rita Coolidge.

Survivors include three sons, Charles Russell Schubarth of Ozark, Clyde Stanley Schubarth of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Coy Harold Schubarth of Bridge City, Texas; two brothers, Coy R. “Bud” Baker Jr. of the Oark community and Elbert C. Baker of West Fork; a sister, Jeanette Pellham of the Pelsor community; and several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

A graveside service was held at the Oark Cemetery with Michael Weichersheimer officiating.

Arrangements were by Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville.

EDWARDWOODWARD

Edward Lee Woodward, 75, of West Fork died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, in Denair, Calif.

He was born July 24, 1934, in Daisy, Okla., to Edger Lee Woodward and Odell Futrell Woodward. He worked as a glazier for 35 years and retired from Acme Glass in 1989.

Sur vivors include a sister, Mildred Rogers of Turlock, Calif.; a brother, Troy Woodward of Broken Arrow, Okla.; four daughters, Linda Bolten of Denair, Calif., Terri Locke of Ripon, Calif., Sherri Falke of Portland, Ore., and Rhonda Parker of Modesto, Calif.; three stepchildren, Roland Rollins and Suzy Steele, both of Fayetteville, and Don Rollins of West Fork; 14 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

A private service will be held.
