— DALE RAYMO

Roland Dale Raymo, 67, of West Fork died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009.

He was born June 22, 1942, in Trenton, Mo., to Leonard Reuben and Goldie Ardenia Johnson Raymo. He was a cab driver and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Lea Raymo.

Survivors include three sons, Gary Raymo of Chillicothe, Mo., and Michael and Clifton Raymo, both of West Fork; two daughters, Tena Ellison of Wheeling, Mo., and Kelly Swisher of Winslow; seven brothers, Bruce, Rex and Marvin Raymo, all of West Fork, Leonard Raymo of Maryland, Larry Raymo of Jamesport, Mo., Billy Raymo of Chillicothe, Mo., and Lester Raymo of Warsaw, Mo.; three sisters, Marion Flinn of St. Charles, Mo., Freida Raymo of Clearwater, Fla., and Janice Rogers of Oak Grove, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were by Moore’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.

A memorial service was held Friday at the Brentwood Community Building.

EATHEL DOUTHIT

Eathel Lorene Douthit, 55, of Siloam Springs died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009, at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.

She was born Feb. 14, 1954, in Fayetteville toOmar Eugene and Roxie Marie Hall Napier. She was a homemaker and a Pentecostal.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Everett Douthit; two sons, Chad Douthit of Fayetteville and Joshua Douthit of Siloam Springs; a daughter, Cassandra Cooley of Siloam Springs; four brothers, Leroy Napier of the Pettigrew community, Jimmy Napier of Springdale, Robert Napier of the Crosses community and Ralph Napier of Fayetteville; three sisters, Virginia Wells of Cassville, Mo., Edith Shrum of Pea Ridge and Darlene Lane of Fayetteville; and three grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Friday at the Patrick Community Building with the Rev. Dean Baker officiating. Burial was in the Patrick Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville.

JUNE FIELDS

Norma June Fields, 67, of Elkins went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at her home in the Durham community. She will be dearly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren and all family and friends.

She was born Oct. 4, 1942, in San Jose, Calif., the daughter of Robert and Pauline Starkey Hattabaugh. She retired from Marshalltown Tools. She was a member of the NewLife Tabernacle Pentecostal Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Howard Fields, to whom she was married for 51 years; four sons, Danny Fields and wife Debi of the Thorney community, David Fields and wife Jan of Paris, Texas, and Kenneth Fields and wife Connie and Kevin Fields and wife Teresa, all of Durham; seven grandsons; two granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Alvin Hattabaugh and wife Maggie of Elkins, Billy Hattabaugh and wife Bessie of the Hazel Valley community, Dean Hattabaugh and wife Margaret of the Japton community and Juan Hattabaugh and wife Rosa of Hazel Valley.

A service was held Saturday at New Life Tabernacle Pentecostal Church of God. Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.

RONNIE E. PEOPLES

Ronnie E. Peoples, 45, of Prairie Grove died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at Washington Regional Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 22, 1964, in Harrison to Roy Peoples and Flora Boen Peoples. He married the former LaJeana Kilgore on July 25, 1988, in Prairie Grove. He was a memberof White Rock Pentecostal Church of God and loved farming and drag racing. He was also a member of the Backwoods Drag Racing Association.

He was employed by the city of Fayetteville in the transportation department.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, LaJeana Peoples of the home; two daughters, Leslie Peoples of the home and Nicole Rodden of Gravette; four brothers, Bill Peoples, Bob Peoples and his wife Laurie and Harold Peoples and his wife Vicki, all of Prairie Grove, and Jerry Peoples and his wife Debbie of the Wesley community; a sister, Deloris Gilbert and her husband Gary of Pineville, Mo.; two grandchildren, Lexi and Isaac Wilf of Gravette; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Monday at Beard’s Chapel with the Rev. H.M. Shipp officiating. Burial followed at Walnut Grove Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.

Memorials may take the form of donations to the Ronnie E. Peoples Memorial Fund at Simmons First National Bank.

DELORA BOWMAN

Delora Mae Bowman, 74, of Elkins died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

She was born April 15, 1935, in Johnson Switch,the daughter of Harry and Roxie Mahan Wilkinson. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Wilkie Wilkinson and Tom Wilkinson; and one sister, Mildred Norris.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Bowman of Elkins; one daughter, Kim Counts of Elkins; one son, Kevin Bowman and his wife, Pam, of Foley, Ala.; three sisters, Bonnie Heinrich of Fayetteville, Fran Bohe of Minnesota and Opal Dalton of Missouri; three grandsons, Brandon Demarest of Fort Riley, Kan., Hunter Guffey of Elkins and Hayden Guffey of Elkins; and two granddaughters, Loren Bowman of Foley, Ala., and Hannah Billings of Elkins.

A memorial ser vice was held Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, at Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville. Sara Bainbridge officiated.

Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.

BETH STEWART

Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Stewart, 35 of Springdale died Oct. 11, 2009, atCircle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

She was born Nov. 2, 1973, in Fayetteville to Alan L. and Twilla Jo Sagely McElroy.

Beth was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Cave Springs. She was a volunteer at the Cancer Support Home in Fayetteville.

Survivors include her husband Vance Stewart of the home; two daughters Sara Stewart and Savana Stewart both of the home; her parents Alan Lee and Twilla Jo McElroy of Springdale; one sister Becky Knox of Lowell.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Cave Springs with Pastor Gary Brewer officiating. Burial will be in the Cave Springs Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Cancer Support Home, 1101 N. Woolsey Ave., Fayetteville, AR 72703.
