WHITE RIVER VALLEY ZELPHA LUPER
Zelpha Luper, 91, of Winslow died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at Washington Regional Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 13, 1918, in the Bidville community to William Oliver and Belle Shepherd Wood. She was a homemaker and a member of Winslow First Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oren Luper.
Survivors include a son, Royce Luper of the Sunset community; two daughters, Rhonda De-Vore of the Sunset community and Loyce Hall of Winslow;
11 grandchildren; and 19 greatgrandchildren.
Arrangements were by Moore’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.
A funeral service was held Saturday at Winslow First Assembly of God with the Rev. Perry Hall officiating. Burial was in ParkCemetery near Winslow.

CUTHBERT ELZEY
Cuthbert Earl “Hop” Elzey, 79, of Huntsville died Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab.
He was born May 12, 1930,in the Marble community to Claude Earl and Bessie Waid Elzey. He was a retired owner and operator of Hometown Auto Parts in Huntsville.
Survivors include his wife, Dixie Thompson Elzey; and caregivers, Joe and Kathy Lyman of Huntsville.
A graveside service was held at Huntsville Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Spurlock officiating.
Arrangements were by Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville.
