Elkins recognizes good school bus passengers

— The Elkins Transportation Department has decided on a monthly basis to recognize those students that display "Perfect Passenger" behavior on the bus.

Each driver can turn in up to three passengers they feel havedisplayed perfect passenger behavior by setting an example for other students on the bus, by following all bus safety rules on a daily basis. The students are presented with a certificate signed by the bus driver and the Transportation Supervisor Jeff Graves.

This month's Perfect Passengers include:

Elkins Primary School, Kindergarten: Guadelope Herrera, Kristy Ortiz, Jordyn Kircher and Wrangler O'Neal.

First grade: Fernanda Castrellon, Azure Caldwell and Ben Evans.

Second grade: Kyra Hill and Ana Maqueda

Elkins Elementary School, Third grade: Payton Coonfield,Shayla Caldron and Hannah Gestring.

Fourth grade: Hunter Foster, Haylee Lewis, Patience Jones and Makayla Mosher, Kate Brown, Hunter Schulze, Danielle Dillard and Schelby Welch.

Fifth grade: Emily Dyke and Rose Redmon.

Sixth grade: Wes Keys, Beckah Hoodenpyle, Amy Patrick,Randy Rohan and Maricela Maqueda.

Elkins Middle School, Seventh grade: Holly Henry and Kim Higgs.

Elkins High School, Ninth grade: Robert Bartea and Allie Wood.

Eleventh grade: Christina Bridges, Ray Hendrix and Shiloh Carr.
