Elks battling through summer heat

"The preseason is long and tough on everyone especially when you don't have a lot of numbers," Clark said. "But the toughest part is over. We have some things to look forward to coming up." The Elks have their Purple and White scrimmage on Thursday and then travel to Green Forest on Aug. 25 for a benefit exhibition game.
