The West Fork City Council approved its 2010 budget with a unanimous vote. While citing the economic downturn and its attended bleak forecasts concerning future revenue the city was forced eliminate one police officer position.

Elkins Elementary held Literacy Night for the districts’ students and parents on Tuesday, Nov. 10, starting the evening with a chili supper followed by many different literacy activities for all.

Council renews tax ordinance
